Instead of parking meters or paper tickets, the system uses number plate recognition, with parking linked directly to your vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hourly fees<\/strong> depend on the time of day and apply daily, including weekends and public holidays:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>from 8 AM to 5 PM = AED 4\/hour <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>from 5 PM to 12 AM = AED 6\/hour <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>from 12 AM to 8 AM = free<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/shutterstock_2118134846.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-30418\" srcset=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/shutterstock_2118134846.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/shutterstock_2118134846-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/shutterstock_2118134846-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/shutterstock_2118134846-150x75.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers have two ways to pay for paid parking in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>SMS parking<\/strong>, where you send a message following the instructions shown on the parking signs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>automatic deduction through Salik account<\/strong>, which allows the system to charge the parking fee directly once the vehicle leaves the space<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If a car does not have a registered Salik account or if the balance is too low, the SMS option must be used before exiting the parking spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For residents and people who park in the area often, PARKONIC also offers membership packages with subscriptions available through the PARKONIC+ app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, paid parking was also introduced in the following areas: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/new-paid-parking-zone-in-wasl-village-hourly-fees-and-subscriptions-for-248w\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"52258\">Wasl Village<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/paid-parking-coming-to-palm-jumeirah-crescent-details-and-hourly-rates\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"51243\">Palm Jumeirah Crescent<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/new-paid-parking-zones-coming-to-dubai-in-early-2026-discovery-gardens-and-international-city\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"50172\">Discovery Gardens, and International City<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you live in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) or often park there, there\u2019s an important update you need to know about.
