Ramadan is coming to an end, and many people are already looking ahead to Eid Al Fitr 2026<\/strong>, the holiday that marks the end of fasting. In Bahrain, the break will last five days<\/strong>, although the exact start of the holiday will depend on the moon sighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the moon is spotted that night, Eid Al Fitr will begin on Thursday March 19. If it is not visible, the celebration will start on Friday March 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued a circular confirming the Eid break for ministries and public institutions. The holiday will cover the day of Eid Al Fitr and the two days that follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities have also shared details about Eid prayers. The General Directorate of Sunni Endowments announced that Eid prayers will take place at 6 AM in mosques across Bahrain<\/strong>. The large open Eid prayer grounds will not be used this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Worshippers will be able to attend Eid prayers in the main mosques across the Kingdom and in mosques that hosted Friday prayers during Ramadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other Gulf countries, including the UAE<\/a><\/strong>, Saudi Arabia<\/a><\/strong>, Qatar<\/a><\/strong>, Oman<\/a><\/strong>, and Kuwait<\/a><\/strong>, have also shared details about their Eid Al Fitr holiday breaks in 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
