The modern version used today has been in place since 1973.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the main elements featured on the Saudi national flag:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The<strong> inscription<\/strong> at the center reads: \u201cThere is no deity but God, Muhammad is the Messenger of God\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Beneath it is a <strong>sword pointing from right to left<\/strong>. The sword represents dignity, strength, and justice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Green background<\/strong>, a color strongly associated with Islam.
