If you live at <strong>Discovery Gardens or International City<\/strong>, you should know that <strong>paid parking zones will be introduced<\/strong> in both starting in early 2026. Here&#8217;s everything you need to know about the new system, timings, and parking fees in both areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Parking Zone at Discovery Gardens (Code P106)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Residents already notice parking signs popping up around the community. However, <strong>no fees before Thursday, January 15, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the <strong>hourly parking rates at Discovery Gardens<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Standard hours (8 AM \u2013 5 PM):<\/strong> AED 4<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Peak hours (5 <strong>PM<\/strong> \u2013 12 <strong>AM<\/strong>):<\/strong> AED 6<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ramadan peak hours (starting at 3 <strong>PM<\/strong>):<\/strong> AED 6<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re a resident, don&#8217;t forget to apply for your parking permit on time to avoid any hassle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/shutterstock_2544170995.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-50176\" srcset=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/shutterstock_2544170995.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/shutterstock_2544170995-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/shutterstock_2544170995-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/shutterstock_2544170995-150x75.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Parking Zone at International City (Code 621Q)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Starting February 1, 2026<\/strong>, paid parking will also be introduced here. Right now, you can notice the signs in areas like the France and China clusters, but no parking meters are up yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>tariffs at International City are the same as for other areas under Zone Q<\/strong>. Rates start at AED 2 (30 minutes), and you can pay up to AED 24 for a 16 hours of parking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re wondering why the fees aren\u2019t the same everywhere, here\u2019s the explanation. Recently, the city <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/changes-to-parking-fees-in-dubai-higher-tariffs-in-popular-areas\/\">updated its parking rates<\/a><\/strong>, especially <strong>in 17 high-traffic areas<\/strong>.
