Anyone <strong>carrying cash, jewellery, cheques, or precious stones worth over AED 60,000 must declare them<\/strong> through the official Afseh online platform. Here\u2019s how it works in 3 steps.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 1: Create an account and log in<\/h3>\n<p>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/declare.customs.ae\/\" target=\"_new\">declare.customs.ae<\/a> and log in using your UAE Pass. Once you&#8217;re logged in, your personal info like Emirates ID and visa details will be filled in automatically. Once approved, you&#8217;ll get an SMS and a notification on the Afseh dashboard.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re a frequent flyer, take note that <strong>Emirates will <a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/emirates-bans-use-of-power-banks-during-all-flights-from-october-1\">ban the use of power banks during flights<\/a> starting October 1, 2025<\/strong>.
