What sets this eclipse apart is its duration: lasting <strong>up to six minutes and 23 seconds<\/strong>, it will be the longest visible from land between 1991 and 2114. For reference, most solar eclipses last under three minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The path of totality \u2014 the area where complete darkness will be experienced \u2014 stretches across southern Spain, northern Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, central Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Somalia, before ending over the Indian Ocean near the Chagos Archipelago.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37714\" src=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/shutterstock_2536596821.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/shutterstock_2536596821.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/shutterstock_2536596821-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/shutterstock_2536596821-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/shutterstock_2536596821-150x75.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Among the <strong>best places to observe the full six-minute eclipse are locations in Libya and Egypt<\/strong>, where skies in August are generally clear and dry. Luxor in Egypt is expected to be one of the most ideal observation points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the UAE, this eclipse will only be partially visible<\/strong>, but it\u2019s still a notable event.
