Called <strong>UTC-UX Fusion<\/strong>, the system uses AI and digital twin technology to manage traffic signals based on real-time road conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of relying on fixed signal cycles, the <strong>new system constantly gathers data, predicts traffic trends, and adjusts signal timings<\/strong> to match what&#8217;s actually happening on the roads. Before making any changes, it simulates the impact using a digital model of the city\u2019s road network. To <strong>make its systems work faster while waiting for the green light<\/strong>, <strong>drivers can <\/strong><strong>move<\/strong><strong> closer to the white stop line<\/strong>. If your car is too far back, the sensors may not register your vehicle, causing the light to stay red longer.<\/p>\n<p>This new tech is just part of a broader push by RTA to modernise the way traffic is managed across Dubai. This summer, <a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/rta-to-upgrade-traffic-flow-in-40-dubai-locations-this-summer\/\"><strong>traffic flow upgrades are planned for 40 locations<\/strong><\/a> in the Emirate, including new entry\/exit points and pedestrian crossings.
