According to the ICC, nine teams will take part, competing for three qualification spots at the 2026 ICC Men\u2019s T20 World Cup, set to be held in India and Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n<p>Teams that secured their places through sub-regional qualifiers in 2024 \u2014 Kuwait, Malaysia, UAE, Qatar, Japan, and Samoa \u2014 will join Nepal, Papua New Guinea, and hosts Oman. Four of them \u2014 <strong>Oman, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, and the UAE \u2014 have previous experience in the T20 World Cup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-37127\" src=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/klhu9agutipxqokiuotb-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" srcset=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/klhu9agutipxqokiuotb-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/klhu9agutipxqokiuotb-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/klhu9agutipxqokiuotb-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/klhu9agutipxqokiuotb-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/klhu9agutipxqokiuotb-150x75.jpg 150w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/klhu9agutipxqokiuotb.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>group stage will run from October 8 to 10<\/strong>, dividing the nine teams into three groups:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Group 1<\/strong>: UAE, Malaysia, Qatar<\/li>\n<li><strong>Group 2<\/strong>: Nepal, Kuwait, Japan<\/li>\n<li><strong>Group 3<\/strong>: Oman, Papua New Guinea, Samoa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The top two teams from each group will move forward to the <strong>Super Six stage, which will take place from October 12 to 17<\/strong>.
