This annual initiative is designed to protect workers from exposure during the hottest part of the day and ensure their health and safety during the peak of summer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Starting June 15 and running until September 15<\/strong>, <strong>outdoor work under direct sunlight will be prohibited daily from 12:30 PM to 3 PM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-31153\" src=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/shutterstock_2477782307.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/shutterstock_2477782307.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/shutterstock_2477782307-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/shutterstock_2477782307-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/shutterstock_2477782307-150x75.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"western\">What the <span lang=\"en-US\">Summer <\/span>Midday Break <span lang=\"en-US\">in UAE<\/span> Involves:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Ban on work from 12:30 <span lang=\"en-US\">PM<\/span> to 3 <span lang=\"en-US\">PM <strong>a<\/strong><\/span><strong>pplies to all sectors involved in outdoor labour<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Companies must provide <strong>shaded rest areas<\/strong> and ensure <strong>cooling equipment<\/strong> like fans is available.<\/li>\n<li>Employers must also <strong>supply drinking water<\/strong>, <strong>electrolyte supplements<\/strong> approved by local authorities, and <strong>first-aid resources<\/strong> on-site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Businesses that <strong>violate the midday break rule<\/strong> <strong>can be fined AED 5,000 per worker<\/strong>, up to a maximum of AED 50,000 if multiple violations are detected.
