Getting your driving licence or car registration documents in Sharjah<\/strong> just got much more convenient. Thanks to a new agreement between Sharjah Police General Command and Emirates Post Group (EMX), residents can now have official vehicle-related documents delivered<\/strong> straight to their doorstep.<\/p>\n

The partnership was formalised in the presence of senior officials from both sides, including Brigadier General Dr Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of Operations and Security Support at Sharjah Police, and Ali Mousa, Senior Director of the Commercial Sector at Emirates Post \u2013 EMX.<\/p>\n

The move aims to reduce the need for residents to visit physical service centres by providing a smooth and smart delivery alternative. Emirates Post will ensure that driving licences and vehicle ownership papers are sent to customers’ locations within a set timeframe<\/strong>, all while maintaining high service standards.<\/p>\n

Brigadier Al Naour stated that the initiative aligns with the UAE government\u2019s focus on smart and sustainable public services. By minimising in-person visits, the service supports greater convenience and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n

Sharjah’s rollout follows a similar upgrade in Dubai, where the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) recently consolidated driving licence services on its website and unified smart app. Residents in Dubai can now apply for, renew, or replace their licences digitally<\/a><\/strong>, without needing to visit a customer centre in person.<\/p>\n
