The move is designed to boost road safety and improve visibility for both drivers and pedestrians.<\/p>\n<p>The renewal works will span highways, major intersections, and residential neighbourhoods, including the <strong>repainting of markings on 50 key roads like Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street, First Al Khail Road, Al Khawaneej Street, and 2nd December Street<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14423\" src=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/shutterstock_2126220236.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/shutterstock_2126220236.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/shutterstock_2126220236-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/shutterstock_2126220236-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/shutterstock_2126220236-64x32.jpg 64w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/shutterstock_2126220236-480x240.jpg 480w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/shutterstock_2126220236-150x75.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, <strong>39 residential areas \u2014 such as Al Barsha, Al Twar, Oud Al Muteena, and Al Sufouh<\/strong> \u2014 are also scheduled for upgrades.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the standard road lines, the project includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Red surfacing<\/strong> for speed-reduction zones<\/li>\n<li><strong>Box junctions<\/strong> at high-traffic intersections<\/li>\n<li>Markings for <strong>paid parking zones<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Refreshed lines for <strong>speed humps<\/strong> and other traffic-calming measures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to Abdulla Ali Lootah, Director of Roads and Facilities Maintenance at RTA\u2019s Traffic and Roads Agency, over <strong>30,000 linear metres<\/strong> <strong>of markings are expected to be repainted<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-30325\" src=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/GmZ_rDlWMAAyEJz.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/GmZ_rDlWMAAyEJz.jpg 900w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/GmZ_rDlWMAAyEJz-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/GmZ_rDlWMAAyEJz-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/platinumlist.ceo\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/GmZ_rDlWMAAyEJz-150x75.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The work will use <strong>high-durability materials and advanced application techniques to extend the lifespan of the markings<\/strong> while maintaining high standards for safety.
