The Riyadh Public Transport Company has announced the launch of two additional stations on the Orange Line of the Riyadh Metro<\/strong>, continuing the steady expansion of Saudi Arabia\u2019s flagship public transportation project. The newly opened Railway Station and Jarir District Station are now fully operational<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Orange Line \u2014 officially known as Line 3 \u2014 runs for 40.7 kilometres<\/strong>, connecting Medina Road in the west to Prince Saad bin Abdulrahman I Road in the east. With these new stops, the metro’s reach extends deeper into densely populated neighborhoods, offering smoother transit flows and reducing travel times for thousands of residents.<\/p>\n

This development marks the final phase in the gradual rollout<\/a> of the six-line Riyadh Metro network. The entire system became fully operational on January 5, 2025, following the initial launch of the Blue, Yellow, and Purple lines in early December 2024<\/a>, and the Red and Green lines shortly after.<\/p>\n
