If you’ve ever thought about swapping the usual summer heat for cool misty mountains and rolling green hills, Oman Air offers you this chance! The airline is launching a new route between Dubai and Salalah, and it might be the easiest way to plan that escape during Khareef season.
Starting July 3, 2026, the airline will operate three flights per week, giving travelers a direct link to one of the Gulf’s most unique summer destinations.

Khareef season (from June 21 to September 20) transforms Salalah into a completely different world. Light rain, cool breezes, and fog rolling over the mountains create a setting you wouldn’t normally associate with the Arabian Peninsula.
Bookings for Dubai-Salalah flights are already open, so if this destination has been on your “one day” list, this could be your sign.
