For event organizers, it\u2019s important to be aware of the restricted activities and ensure that any event organized by your firm abides by the rules and regulations for the month.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To help you plan your events for the month of Ramadan, we have listed all the event activities that are allowed and not allowed during Ramadan in Dubai.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Events Allowed During Ramadan in Dubai<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per the official <\/span><b>Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (DTCM) circular, here are the events and activities allowed during Ramadan in Dubai.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Iftar and Suhoor Tents.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Folklore Activities are allowed between 7:30 p.m. to 3 a.m.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">National and international award ceremonies.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DJs are allowed to play background music only.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Circus Shows are allowed with background music only.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Acrobatic shows can be performed with background music.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Children\u2019s play area is allowed with background music.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Magic shows can be performed with background music.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Classical music events can be performed with a singer &amp; string instruments operator only.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jazz &amp; Blues performance is allowed with a singer, string instrument player, and musical instrument player only.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Opera.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Drama &#8211; Stage\/Theatre\/Actor\/Story\/Producer\/Poet\/Poetess performances are allowed.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Comedy.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Musical Play.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">National Play.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Events Not Allowed During Ramadan in Dubai<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Performers\/Musicians.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fashion Shows.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Art Exhibitions.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Commercial \/ Specialized Exhibition.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Activities (Face painting, Arts &amp; Crafts, etc.).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Other Prohibited Activities During Ramadan In Dubai<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dancing and Loud Music<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ramadan is a time of reflection and spiritual devotion, and loud music and dancing are not allowed during this time. Nightclubs and bars are also not allowed to operate during Ramadan.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public Displays of Affection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Public displays of affection are not allowed during Ramadan in Dubai. This includes kissing, hugging, and holding hands in public.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Selling Alcohol<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selling alcohol is not allowed during Ramadan in Dubai.
