Biography & Career:
Jixo & Danz is a Lebanese DJ duo based in Dubai, made up of two childhood friends who have been behind the decks together since 2001. Daniel Jahed (Jixo) and Daniel Azar (Danz) first bonded over music during their school years in Beirut, and that tight-knit connection has never left their sets. What makes the Jixo and Danz partnership so compelling is the rare ability to play back-to-back in perfect sync — feeding off each other's energy, reading the room together, and building something greater than either could alone.

Musically, the Jixo and Danz DJs have always leaned toward the deeper, groovier side of house, but are equally comfortable shifting gears into tech-house and techno when the moment calls for it. Their trademark super-smooth transitions and impeccable track selection have earned them a loyal following across the Middle East and beyond. As long-term residents at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE from 2011 to 2018, the duo warmed up stages for heavyweights like Solomun, Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Sven Väth, Nina Kravitz, and Dixon — regularly playing to thousands on one of the region's most iconic terraces. They have also held residencies at Soho Garden, Soho Beach Dubai, Code, and Tokyo Vibes, and serve as brand ambassadors for Sennheiser Middle East.

Beyond Dubai, Jixo & Danz have taken their sound to Ibiza, Croatia, Malaysia, Egypt, Greece, and back to their home city of Beirut, playing legendary underground venues including BO18, The Grand Factory, and Uberhaus.
